Alabama Home Education Day
April 11th, 2024
This year we are encouraging independent exploration of our Capitol grounds, State House, and nearby museums, and will be providing guides, ideas, and printables for the occasion!
If you fill out this form we will email you a welcome packet with information on the Capitol, its surrounding monuments, and must-see places in walking distance…as well as a few other can’t-miss Montgomery odds and ends!
We will also send you a schedule of the day’s legislative activities, and when they might give us a shout-out on the floor!
*Bonus* will be printables for you to print at home and use on the day of! Finally, we will wrap up the day with a message from Alabama HSLDA rep Will Estrada, and an Alabama Legislative 101 class.
The Legislative 101 will be hosted by Eagle Forum, and promises to be a bipartisan information event on how the legislative process in Alabama works!

We are so excited to share this FREE Alabama State Symbols coloring book created by Alabama homeschoolers for Alabama homeschoolers!
Feel free to print and bring with you something for the kids to do in their downtime, or to use celebrating Alabama Home Education Day at home!
Next year we will be hosting a contest, asking for submissions, and creating an even bigger book!
