SevenKidsIsGreat said… - I always recommend people just starting out to visit the Homeschool Diner website. Julia has a very nice presentation on the different philosophies of education. There is a handy quiz which helps you narrow down which philosophy you lean towards. After you have determined the route that you intend to take, then you can search for resources that match your philosophy and the interests of each child. There is much more to home education than just recreating school at home, which I personally do not recommend.

- Hi Stacy, and welcome. I am Cheryl from Mobile, AL but my husband lives and works in the Fort Rucker area through the week. We have 7 children and have been home schooling for 16 years. Two have graduated and are in college. Glad to have you here.
